Workshops
This group plays a variety of Colombian Folk Music such as Pasillo, Bambuco, Cumbia and Currulao from the Atlantic and Pacific coasts, to the Colombian Andes, and the East plains of the country, that have been performed at diverse venues such as cultural centers and libraries.

Oscar Banquez, Clarinet, Alto Sax; Victor Murillo, Acoustic Bass; Nestor Milanes, Piano; Rafa Leal, Drums and Percussion.

I have been dedicating a great part of my time to the private teaching of children and adults. I have been sharing with my students the best of my knowledge and experience to encourage and inspire them to carry on with playing the drums with confidence and the certainty that their talents will evolve and mature just as mine did.
Through the years I've been leading workshops at Universities and Music Schools in Colombia, Mexico and USA. To name a few, Universidad Pedagógica and Universidad EAN in Colombia; Casa de la cultura en Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico; Colombian Consulate, Flushing Town Hall, and The New School in New York City, USA.
